I am delighted to announce that I was a shortlisted finalist in the Portraits round of the highly popular Digital Photo \/ Practical Photography POTY (Photographer of the Year) 2011 competition!<\/p>\n

The shot which was judged to be in the top 10 out of nearly 2,000 entries was the one above, taken at an organised model shoot at ‘The Interlude’ in Leicester. The model in the shot is Faye<\/a>\u00a0(NSFW link) who was absolutely fantastic to work with, and in my opinion she made the shot.<\/p>\n

Whilst I didn’t win the grand prize, I believe a top 10 finish is something to be really proud of, and it wins me \u00a3150 worth of Jessops vouchers – which will inevitably be spent on more kit to help me make even better photographs!<\/p>\n
